Welcome to LESTES!

Our laboratory is located in the Department of Hydrobiology of the Federal University of São Carlos (Brazil). We work on two interesting and important interfaces: we attempt to understand how evolutionary and ecological processes interact to create and maintain biodiversity. To achieve this goal, we integrate several areas of knowledge, always aiming at the training and integration of students in Biology, Zoology and Animal Behavior.
